Our trick to getting the best of both worlds is to usejarred jalapenosin the mix, and fresh jalapenos on top! I always thought canned or jarred jalapenos were gross, but don’t be afraid to try them.

They have the perfect amount of heat and tons of flavor, giving your deviled eggs that perfect medium heat jalapeno touch. We topped our deviled eggs with a super thin slice of fresh jalapeno and it was the perfect finishing touch.

We’d also recommend bringing yourcream cheese to room temperaturebefore adding it into your egg yolk mixture. This will give your filling the creamy texture you are hoping for.

Our last trick is to useprecooked bacon or bacon bitsboth in your egg mixture and on top. This is another great time saver and the easiest way to speed up the cooking process! Just pop it in the microwave for a few seconds, then crumble it for your filling and break off a few crispy pieces to top off your deviled eggs.

Store these eggs in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

By jarred jalapeños, do you mean the pickled type ones in vinegar?
